Muswellbrook artist Leanne Ward ran two-weekend workshops this November, creating a variety of mosaic projects using salvaged tiles from the decommissioned Liddell Power Station. The tiles have been collected by a former Liddell employee who is thrilled to see them repurposed into something creative, fun and functional. Leanne is well-known to the local community as a talented painter, photographer and mosaic artist. Her works can be found in Simpson & Hunter Parks Muswellbrook, Brook St Plaza, the Murrurundi Story Board, St Joseph’s High School, Blandford Public School, Denman Public School and she has also spent time as Artist in Residence at Muswellbrook High School.
