LiddellWORKS Artist Fiona Lee is a multi-disciplinary artist and climate justice advocate. This duality of experience enriches the art that she makes and particularly connects with the complexity of the energy transition in the Hunter Valley.
Below, the artist has shared a glimpse of her work in progress as part of the LiddellWORKS artist residency. Lee has been working on casting found objects from the Liddell Power Station site, creating these intriguing moulds that contain fly ash, a by-product from the coal-fired power station.
